Loss
This study revolves around 'survival'. Surviving as a result of using art as a language, to make room to move, to find space and healing. The work follows the experiences of loss of a close relative and attempts to find a visual language for the traumatic turmoil of watching a loved one dying from cancer.

Exhibition
Loss was on public exhibition at the Custard Factory Gallery, Birmingham, on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th April 2008. Many thanks to all who came along. I'll be publishing some of the messages from the guestbook here soon.
The canvas work was also previously exhibited at the University of Worcester from 21st November 2007 until 7th December 2007.
These exhibitions were dedicated to my dad and to Antonia Woodcock, Emma Woodcock and Simon Hodgetts. I am truly humbled by your unconditional love, support and devotion.
